Pam Pontious of Pamda Bears started making funny little animals at an early age, giving them away to family and friends and a few craft shows. The commercial patterns were never "quite right" and so, she always modified them in some way to make them "better."

Pam attended her first bear convention in Seattle in 1986. At last she found what she was looking for - a real teddy bear. Since then, with the help of hubby who named the company, Pam has diversified her offerings from bears to rabbits, rodents and fowl. The winsome smiles and sometimes comical expressions on Pam's creations are meant to bring a smile to the beholder. Pam sells her bears from Alaska to Florida and places in between.
